issues in the office. Topics include chair design, computer set up, lighting,
and office arrangement. Classes are held throughout the fall and spring semesters,

Professional development fund:
Awards from the Academic Professional Development Fund (http://www.provost.uiuc.edu/resources/Staff/index.html) are available. They are meant to support APs in their efforts to keep up-to-date in their respective fields. Awards may be used for conferences and seminars and associated travel expenses. They are for as much as $1,000.
Flexible schedules that consist of a compressed workweek or non-standard hours are allowed, but they are available only at your unit's discretion. If you are interested in a flexible schedule, discuss establishing one with your supervisor.
